Murias de Rechivaldo

Today I woke up a little later than the day before which was nice! Still trying to get over the jet lag. The walk from Hospital to Astorga was very boring. So far I am disappointed with the actual walking. Much of it is alongside roads and/or on concrete. I am staying positive and hoping that once I enter Galicia this changes. Astorga is a nice little city. I sat and had a late breakfast early lunch and a cafe with the Italian woman who stayed the night in Hospital with me. After that we made our way here, had a wine and she pressed on to Ranabal which I will do tomorrow. I must say I do enjoy having given myself so much time! It seems as if many people are rushing, or I haven't met those who are taking their time. I have a few blisters and my legs are sore, but that is to be expected after walking 50 kilometers give or take in the last two days. The plan tomorrow is to make it to Ranabal then see how I feel! Buenos noches!

Ps, the picture is of Astorga and a little village called San Justo de la Vega which is right before Astorga. The people in it are a french family that I essentially played leap frog with the last 7K to astorga.
